It's been such a long time...the North American GT Championship by RaceSims Revolution and The Pits

This mod is for rFactor and is a simulated touring car championship based on the SCCA Speed World Challenge GT series.

This mod has probably been one of the most notorious mods of all time...it's been known about for years, feared dead for almost as long, and resurrected time and time again, with more lives than any cat. There have been more people involved with this mod than could be imagined, and sadly, even some people who are no longer with us but joined the team way back in the day.

Had someone told us that it would be almost three years from conception to fruition, we probably would have never even started it. Both RSR and The Pits got the idea for a World Challenge GT mod at about the same time, and after a little negotiation between the two groups, it was decided to combine forces.

However, it was not to be so smooth for the rest of the trip. People on both teams were getting tired of modding, plus some occasional friction, and as well people just disappearing caused the project to slow to a crawl. Everything imaginable was thrown in the path of the mod. How it ever got completely finished is due purely to the tenacity of the RSR and Pits teams, that they decided that the mod would be completed...no matter what. And finally..."soon" is HERE!

Features:
Complete physics performance
Unique Menu System
Custom Soundtrack
NAGT Vehicle Upgrades
- Engine build -
- Class Package -
- REWARDS Weight and Team Compensation System -
- Force Feedback Strength -

Official Team Press Release

Team PCRacer would like to officially announce their new driver lineup slated to compete in the 2007 Formula Sim Racing World Series League [FSR]

Team PCRacer Ace:
Competing in the prestigis WS ACE Division will be our current top dog David Webb in the all new MP24 Mercedes-Mclaren powered EGVA sponsored Team PCRacer Ace Car. There is still a pending contract negotiation underway with an unnamed driver for the open seat in the #2 support car...stay tuned for details as they develop.

Following up in the WS PRO Division, PCRacer will be fielding 2 teams to accommodate the talented stable of drivers contracted to race during 2007 season.

Team PCRacer Pro I:
Will be our veteran team drivers Ralph Decker in the #78 car & Joe Tanto in the #79 car. Both will be under contract to drive the remaining scheduled races of the 2007 season. Since a delay in getting the new cars finished in time & missing the seasons first 2 rounds, they are still very hopeful they can get the team into a top 5 spot as 'rookies' in the WS League.

Team PCRacer Pro II:
New to the team this season, piloting the #2 Team Cars with support ride contracts & competing on a limited schedule basis, will be an up & coming driver that finished 3rd overall in the NASRL F1 Series, Chris Camps in the #76 car. Also new to the team is the very seasoned FSR sim racing veteran, Donny Alumbaugh who will be competing in the #77 car.
Due to other contractural obligations both drivers may not be avaiable for interviews/pics at all the team pre race press conferences & post race parties.
